This is my favorite place in Venice to go for dinner.  You have to take a boat to get there so most of the folks eating are Venetians.  It’s mostly fried fish and other fish dishes.  I love it.  Sorry you can’t go….

Olivetti Showroom on St. Marc

This is definitely worth a visit and 5 euro (or free if you’re a student).  On display are a bunch of old Olivetti typewriters and the space they are in is a fabulous lobby designed by Carlo Scarpa.
