Gabriel Soare is the mysterious and sometimes frightening day-time bartender at the American Academy in Rome. As a young man, Gabri was a well known waiter uniform model, traveling often between Milan and New York for photo shoots and runway shows. At age 30, Gabri quit modeling and went in search of a quieter, more stable lifestyle. The AAR hired Gabri in 1993 to head up their new cafe. His daily schedule now includes making faces, making delicious coffee and then making more faces.
